we are also a brilliant base for exploring the local area. Commonwood is a short drive to National Heritage Sites, Historic towns, 45 minutes from a major city Liverpool/Manchester, 50 minutes from snowdonia, 5  minutes drive to Wrexham city centre

We also have a truly unique experience. The Arcadia Safari tent in its own 5-acre field, comes with its own private lake to fish, swim, canoe. Also included is a small natural lounge pool, large Argentinian bbq, fire pit, extra-large table, seating areas, hammock. This is ideal for group bookings as you are hiring the field and have the whole place to your selves. sleeps 10 but booking extra people is allowed but must speak to staff.

We also have a site for Caravans. We have 6 supper lakeside pitches, water, waste, electric pitch, stay in your caravan surrounding Madoc Lake, our swimming/paddle board lake, ideal for the family camping weekend. We also have 5 large pitches hard standing with electric hook ups along the canal better for the angler. We have non electric hardstanding pitches with Madoc Lake view. Campervans welcome. Commonwood Fishery has a range of lakes suitable for all types of anglers. Children are welcome to come and have a go at fishing in our children's pools located by the cafe. you must bring your own equipment.
